Prof. Vinand Nantulya

Professor Nantulya is Senior Officer at FIND Diagnostics. Prior to this, he was Senior Technical Advisor to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

He has an MD from Dar es Salaam University, and a PhD in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from Nairobi University.
He is Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath), London. Prior to moving to the Global Fund, Dr Nantulya was Senior Research Scientist in International Health, at the Harvard School of Public Health. Previous to that he was a Senior Research Scientist and Head of Programs at the Nairobi based International Laboratory for Research on Animal Diseases (ILRAD), and later worked with the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF), a Nairobi- based health development NGO with operations in eight African countries where he was Director of Programs, responsible for strategic planning, and program monitoring and evaluation. He is Adjunct Research Professor, University of Sciences in Philadelphia, USA.

Dr. Nantulya has published close to 100 peer-reviewed research articles in international scientific journals in the field of immunology, parasitology, and public health.
