Mr. Alexandre Lambert holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva (Graduate Institute). He is Academic Director and Professor at the School for International Training in Geneva (SIT Study Abroad / World Learning). Preliminarily, Mr. Lambert was lead researcher on the OSCE Code of Conduct at the Graduate Institute’s Program on the Study of International Organizations, project officer at the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), and civil servant at the Swiss Federal Department of Defense. He is a member of the Swiss Foreign Policy Association, the European Consortium of Political Research (ECPR), European Research Group on Armed Forces and Society (ERGOAS), and Fellow of the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society (IUS) based in Chicago. Next to his academic tasks, Dr. Lambert carries out independent research and provides policy-consultancy on the OSCE Code of Conduct to governments, international and non-governmental organizations. Dr. Lambert has published on a wide range of issues, including international security, multilateral diplomacy, civil-military relations, political theory and democratic governance.
