Graduation Day 2008

On 28 June, the Geneva School of Diplomacy celebrated its 2008 Graduation Ceremony at the Domain de Penthes campus in Pregny/Geneva.Graduates from the Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Master of International Relations, Executive Master of International Relations and Doctor of International Relations programmes gathered with family, friends, staff of the university and special guests to toast the successful conclusion of their studies and look ahead, together, to a bright future.

Marking the occasion were speeches by special guests Professor Curtis Roosevelt and Mr. Esam Janahi, who were both awarded the degree of Doctor of International Relations, honoris causa.

His Serene Highness, Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, was also awarded the degree of Doctor of International Relations, honoris causa, which he accepted at a private ceremony at the school on 1 July.

Dr. Colum Murphy, President of the Geneva School of Diplomacy remarked, “We are very pleased with another highly successful graduation day marking yet another meaningful year gone by at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. We were truly delighted to honor Mr. Janahi, Professor Roosevelt and His Serene Highness, Albert II, and of course the real stars of the day, our students and their families.”
