Alumni

Dear Alumni,

As you all very well know, being a relatively new and small school, we take pride in our personal communication and relations with our current and former students. We sincerely hope that you enjoyed your time at GSD as much as we cherished your presence here.

To keep you posted on the developments from our side, you will be glad to know that the school is growing by the day, manifested in increasing student enrolments every academic year. We also have a new, state of the art, fully equipped and functional new building (the De Sales Building) with two big classrooms and two offices.

Amongst its other enterprises, the school has established formal collaboration with partner institutions. At present, we are collaborating with the University of Western Connecticut, UNISINOS, University of Berkeley and UPEACE for various projects. The school is also certified by EDUQUA, the Swiss Quality Certificate for Adult Education Institutions.

The school’s validation process is also underway, and we are well ahead in collaborating with other universities in the UK and USA.

This is why we are interested in formalising an Alumni Forum to retain contact with those who have graduated and build a mutually beneficial relationship. The intention of forming a close knit connection of our graduates is to celebrate, foster and strengthen the global alumni community, to encourage cooperation between the alumni and the school. This forum would need your input and support. The central objective of the Forum will be to serve as a professional body dedicated to the exchange of contacts and ideas.

In this regard, we would very much like to know about your professional and personal achievements after GSD, some information about your experiences with us and other general thoughts. Please do give us your feedback and ideas on the maintenance of this Alumni page. A few quotations, pictures, anecdotes etc. are welcome and shall be much appreciated. You can send any information directly to alumni@genevadiplomacy.ch

We sincerely hope from all who have graduated to strengthen the Alumni Forum and take initiative for the promotion of the institution and its students. In this regard, we highly value the contributions of our Alumni and their association with the students at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. In the near future, we are also hoping to organise alumni reunions and events.

We convey our best wishes to all of you in your pursuits and thank you for your help and cooperation in carving the image of the school, as our fellow ambassadors.

….. And as always, please drop by to meet and have coffee with us if you are ever passing by the area. We would be more than happy to welcome you.

Sincerely,
Geneva School of Diplomacy
