Bachelor of International Relations (BA-IR)

The three year course of study for the Bachelor of International Relations have the following objectives: to impart knowledge of basic concepts, theories and methods in international relations; to develop in each student at least one area of special individual competence in international relations; and to train students in research, analytical, and presentation/communication skills.

Students are required to have completed any recognized school leaving certificate, the International Baccalaureate Programme, A-Levels, American Placement, French baccalaureate, Maturita, Arbitur, etc… to be able to apply for the Bachelors Programme.

Students studying for the BA-IR take six courses per week during each fourteen-week trimester. Each course carries three credits points in accord with international norms. An annual study trip and other special events/study experiences throughout the academic year are mandatory components of the program.

A normal year of full-time study, therefore, earns the student 60 credit points towards the necessary graduation total of 180 credits, achievable in three years.

Requirements:
The candidate applying for this programme needs to have a high school diploma like International Baccalaureate, A-Levels, Maturita, Abitur, Advanced Placements, or any other and a confirmed motivation in pursuing International Relations studies.
