STATECRAFT
“the art of conducting affairs of State” (Oxford dictionary)

We teach it.

“GLOBECRAFT” ®
- we invented the word.

We teach it.

Because globalisation (which we did not invent) is your future.
Understanding the world around us – past, present and future – and influencing that world in a more humane direction, is what Geneva School of Diplomacy is all about.

Learning Leadership. “serviendo guberno”.

Learning world-class leadership in a beautiful setting – this is the enduring “GSD experience”. “Serviendo guberno” means “I govern (so) I serve”. Thus, a Geneva School of Diplomacy graduate is one who has learned to lead – on a global or national playing field – with more education, more professionalism, more knowledge, more competence. And more compassion.

This is possible because the Geneva School of Diplomacy faculty is made up of distinguished professionals – renowned professors, ambassadors, statesmen and stateswomen – selected for educating skills and humanitarian committment alike.
On this troubled but rapidly globalising planet, international relations and statecraft are the heart of the GSD curricula. But so too is our globecraft – aimed at a more humane world.

STATECRAFT – for better world leadership

GLOBECRAFT® – for a more compassionate world

Hurray for that!

  • "The Geneva School of Diplomacy hosts students and staff from all corners of the world, contributing to a truly diverse, interconnected and multicultural school community that is hard to find elsewhere."
